I was under the impression Maths was because they give STEP offers but a lot of my friends disagree. Thoughts?

I've had no personal experience, but a girl I knew did not get onto an 'Economics' degree, but she did get onto the 'Maths with Economics'. Both applications were to the University of Birmingham
