I've got an appointment with the bank to make my first ever debit card, and I wanted to know what type of things do they ask at this appointment?

Look on the website. I dont know your age, but they are going to want you to fill a frm out with personal details on age address etc and take in photo id plus proof of address. It will save time if you have those documents listed on the website.

You could even prefill the form in. they will also want to know what your income might be and where from.

It is mostly addressed and identity questions, you need to be able to prove who you are legally and also that you have an address. I recommend you take your passport with you and also a recent letter sent to your house, from a college or UCAS or an official body

I opened mine this summer, just gone by and they asked for ID Either a Valid Passport that hasn't expired yet or a Birth Certificate (Allthough the former had expired so I brought the latter), and if you're under 18 (I'm 16) you might wanna bring a parent to get it open I'm guessing since my Mum came with me because she was my "proof of address" since she already had a bank account where I was opening my account at. You might want to bring a bill or something in you or your parent's name with your address on. That was pretty much it the rest was just filling out forms like my email address, mobile number, and generally just basic information and then my card was mailed to me a few days after.
