I submitted my COPA application with a hasty calculation of my UMS marks and I'm not sure if I did them correctly. For example, if I scored 55/70 on a paper, what would my UMS marks be? Please help!

UMS is calculated in a way that UMS is not always exactly comparable to raw marks (in UK qualifications at least). If you're an international student I don't know how it works in all countries, so I'd contact the admissions tutor of the college you've applied to by email and ask about it and voice all of your concerns.

It was AS Psychology, CIE. To get an A, you had to get 46 and over from 70. I got 55.

Will the AS count towards your final mark?

Oh, sorry, I didn't see this. Thank you so much! I guess I'll get around to doing that.

It would depend on what the threshold was for 100% UMS (this is often a few marks below max). I think the UMS marks are done on a linear scale for each line segment (in your case it'd be the segment from 80 to 100). There is a formula, but it's probably easier to look up a conversion table instead.

CIE doesn't have module UMS.

Oh. They have percentage uniform marks then? I probably need to email Cambridge and let them know I messed up 😂
