Hi all,

I have been given the following titles to choose from for my coursework and was wondering what everyone's thoughts on these are? Or if anyone is doing perhaps a similar if not the exact same coursework?

Right now, I am leaning towards Option 4. I have not read any other book except for Mansfield Park so I am not sure how to choose my title. Reading all four suggested books is also very time consuming. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

1) Compare and contrast the ways in which social pressures are presented in Mansfield Park and Death of a Salesman

2) Compare and contrast the narrative structure of Mansfield Park and Ninteen Eighty Four

3) Compare and contrast representations of femininity and the mutual attractions of the sexes in Mansfield Park and Chaucer's Miller's Tale

4) Compare and contrast the presentations of female independence of Fanny Price and Mary Crawford in Mansfield Park and Beatrice and Hero in Much Ado about Nothing

I would suggest you to have a look at the four recommended books to see which one looks most interesting to you. You don't want to get caught up trying to write about a book you find really boring when there was one you'd really enjoy! As long as the book interests you, everything else will fall into place.

Don't pick a title just because it looks easy.
