I wish to resit my physics Unit 1 and Unit 2 in January as I am about 20 marks off an A grade, should i apply for UCAS with my current grades or wait till I receive my results which will be around March.

Also, i have a private tutor who has taught me since IGCSE, is it possible for me to include her as my referee instead of someone from school?

    Thanks

The deadline for equal consideration is January 15th. So if you wait until March to apply, unis don't have to look at your application - some unis will, but you'll have limited options. So it's much better to apply before the deadline and state that you're resitting.

Unis may think that you have something to hide if you do not use your current school as a reference.
