    November: Blog post 4

Hellooo! Just an update here before the next week! I've not been getting much homework recently, so I've been making the most of the time by learning lots of flashcards, and getting by AS notes up to date. I have also agreed to start helping out my friend with Biology on a regular basis by kind of tutoring her, because she needs a C to get into university but needs a B, and school isn't really helping. If anyone has had any experience with this please let me know, I want to know how to help her best! It makes me really sad that our school doesn't give much support for people struggling, it's pretty much an exam factory

I've been having soooo many panic attacks recently, especially in school so it isn't really giving me much confidence for during exam season when I'm sure I will be infinitely more stressed. I'm definitely going to have to try and sort this out, no clue how though! In the news, a member of the royal family is coming to watch my concert band perform at christmas! Crazy! I don't know who it is yet, but it's so exciting!

Thank you for reading, have a fab week!

Aww thanks, I hope you do too! I'm not panicking about exams (yet), so far my revision is going good and I'm pretty confident, but if I have a panic attack in an exam that would be the end of me :')

Hellooo! So far this week is going pretty well. I got the result back from the Senior Maths Challenge and found out I got a silver, which I was really proud of since I was one of only two people in my class to get one. I've been running a bit low on motivation in the run up to christmas, so I'm just letting myself relax a bit more before the hardcore revision starts after christmas. However, my kind teachers have decided to give me MORE tests! I have biology and psychology end of topic tests next week, which are going to be really hard to revise for since I'm away seeing family all weekend.
    Roll on Christmas!

    Update!!

This isn't a proper blog post, I just wanted to give a quick update since Ive not posted in a while. Things are pretty hectic, I've had lots of different christmas music performances and tests so I've completely forgotten to update! I'll do a real post at the weekend but for now I'm off to revise for my Biology test tomorrow!

    December: Blog post 1

I'm back! I've had such a busy week this week. I've been to the theatre to see War Horse which was incredible, and I've also had two christmas performances with various bands that I'm in. Sadly I haven't had much time to focus on school work because of this. I've been feeling realllllyyy anxious and haven't been wanting to go to school at all at the moment, so I've been trying to listen to myself and what is going on and give myself a bit of a break. It's really annoying because I wanted to get loads of notes and flashcards written in preparation for my test week in January, but at the same time I don't want to burn myself out, so I've been laying off on the work quite a bit. Hopefully this will pass soon and I'll be able to get back to working really hard!

Aww thanks! I'd say there isn't much of a step up from AS to A level so as you go through the year it'll get a lot easier and you'll get used to how things work! I didn't take AS levels, so our teachers taught some A level material in year 12 and I didn't think it was so bad, so I'm sure you'll be great, good luck with everything!

it must be great learning the a-level stuff in year 12. my teachers are all like, nah, let's just do it next year and i'm like, but it would make so much more sense to just get started this year so that next year we have more time to revise. but still, i quite like having the AS at the end of this year so that i can see my progress

thank you!! i hope your uni applications go well
