Psychology Applicants 2017/18

1) Which 5 universities did you apply to?
2) What did you get in AS/Predicted grades?
3) What do you want to go on to do after uni?
4) Anyone have any offers and if so, what grades?

My answer:

1) Nottingham, Loughborough, Surrey, East Anglia, Essex
2) AS grades: ACC, Predicted grades: ABB
3) probably something to do with forensic psychology
4) got an offer from Loughborough (AAB), Surrey (AAB), East Anglia (AAB/ABB with A in EPQ), and Nottingham (ABB)

I couldn't find a thread on this so I thought I would make one. Just sent in my application today and hoping to get offers ASAP.

I have applied to:
UCL (Psychology)
Birmingham (Psychology)
Nottingham (Psych & Cognitive Neuroscience)
Loughborough (Psychology)
Warwick (Psychology)

Has anyone else sent off their application? Who is currently in the process? What are your choices and predicted/obtained A-Levels? Does anyone have offers yet? Please share your stories.

I meant uni's, my bad.. and I'm sure you will be okay. Talking to a couple of people I know that do psychology, they say the first couple of months is essentially an a level recap. You might feel like you are struggling then, but as long as you keep on top of things you should be fine.

Hey there! I recently graduated from Staffs doing the BSc Psychology and Counselling course, and I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. As Tymitch says, the first year is all about getting everyone to the same level, whether you have done A-Level Psychology or not, so don't panic! Is there anything anyone wants to know about Psychology at Staffs?? 😊
