Does Oxbridge (specifically Cambridge) accept applicants who have retaken GCSE Mathematics?

I achieved a Grade 5 in July, however I will be retaking my Mathematic exams in November, to try and attain a 6/7, aiming to apply to Cambrige for either Law, Psychology or Politics in 2019.

Will they still consider me, even though I've retaken my GCSE Maths?

    Thanks

I'm not sure about this. I know that they have no problem with retaking A-level modules as long as you don't retake loads of them. Maths isn't terribly closely related to the subjects you're doing, but 5 (or even 6/7 for that matter) is pretty low for Oxbridge.

I understand that those grades may be viewed as low for Oxbridge standards, but I'm hoping my other GCSE grades make up for it. I'm also doing the EPQ, along with English Literature, Psychology and Geography
