Watching 'Rick and Morty' might help.. If not I suggest getting a job, saving lots of money, then taking a really long vacation across Asia. Travel, chill with some monks, climb some mountains, align your chakras, make love to mother nature, that sort of stuff x
I just don't see how climbing mountains is going to help me. It sounds quite difficult and something people generally do for acclaim...not healing.

If you just tried giving it up for a month you will see a change. It is a depressant. I am speaking from experience here. It might temporarily dull the pain but it alters your brain chemistry in an unnatural way.
The alteration of brain chemistry is the main benefit. My brain chemistry is dire.

    Agreed.

I love my antidepressants and ADHD meds lel. Totally reverted my personality back to how I was as a teenager, laughing and joking a lot. Before I got depressed.

you're kinda fukked then lol. If your brain is low on dopamine and you're not gonna fix it.
NO FAP was supposed to fix the dopamine issue. Instead of all the benefits of NO FAP what I've gotten instead is a feeling of sickness whenever I look at a girl IRL.

    I like the title.
Thank you but it's not really that great a title is it?

Do you have any good friends who you can spend quality time with? That might make you feel better.
I would find no assistance from my friends.

Except you drink alcohol. Alcohol is a drug.

Anti-depressants don't work for everyone, but the evidence is that people who are suffering severe depression tend to get the most benefit.

If you are dead set against any such anti-depressants, then your GP will be able to suggest other things, perhaps Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, maybe counselling.

But if you don't want to be depressed anymore, you have to do something to change it. Nothing anyone on here says will actually change things. Making an appointment with the doctor is the first step
Surely ADs are a stopgap at best? If a drug is able to restore brain chemistry back to so-called normal levels then surely I'd require that drug all of the time?

I’ve had one of the worst days of my life today thanks to some kind of virus and several full blown panic attacks.

I’ve thrown up several times and even crapped myself.
I see you're in a bad situation but I actually have my own problems at the moment.

yes you take it everyday and it builds up slowly in your system. They're seretonine uptakers (or something liek that). It builds up the level of happy chemicals in your brain.

Takes a month to start working. Then after a while you come of them gradually.

Take anti depressants. You never know what the outcome may turn out to be. I don't understand why people are saying stupid crap like "watch anime". HE IS DEPRESSED FOR fudge sake.

    That's a confident assumption.

Sometimes they don't don't for me (didn't as I've stopped taking them).

In order to beat depression you have to identify the factors making you depressed, then tackle them. Not take something that just masks the problem.

I talk like I'm an expert when I'm in a similar predicament to OP.

ye lmao. He's suffering from an illness.

It's like telling someone who has cancer to play video games.

I am a complete broken man.

I live in squalor and obscurity. I'm overcome with depression and I can't see a way out. I just don't see how I'm going to overcome this deep **** that I am in.

Getting laid doesn't help. Reading doesn't help. No Fap doesn't help. Immersing in work doesn't help. Trying to laugh about it doesn't help. Nothing helps.
I am in exactly the same position as you except the part about getting laid .

my life has been living hell for the past 5 years , i came close to death.

been suffering from three severe mental disorders

been on psychotic medication and anti depressants for 4 years .

    my parents cry everyday.

I sleep 22 hours a day in bed , because it makes me feel like I am dead but still alive and well for my family to see me breathing.

I have been on this poison for 4 years . stop recommending it to other people as it won't end the suffering.

the side effects are horrible and it takes your human soul away just for a good mood
