What is the difference between the army and the police? DO they just wear different uniforms? Do the army just like the police but have more power and can carry guns around? Can soldiers arrest people?
Can you call the army like you can call the police or like how do you contact them to assist a situation?

I don't need the army to come to my house I am just curious and confused how this system works.

    Thankyou reader.

The Police handle civil disputes and enforce the law and what the High Court tells them to do.The Army is generally composed of Soilders who defend the country and carry out defensive works i.e. digging trenches or engineers who fix stuff like their helicopters and stuff, and they also attack other countries when needed and they do a lot of training I think. They don't wwear different uniforms just for fun, the armies' uniform help them to camouflage with their surroundings so they're not easily noticeable to the enemy, and the police's uniform protects them from gunshots (Bullet proof vests) and being assaulted.
