Best Calculator for A-level Maths and Further Maths regardless of price watch

    It's expensive but I have this calculator: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-FX975.../dp/B0023UYQTG

    It's especially useful for checking answers, in C3 and C4 I used the graphing ability all the time to find the roots of equations and turning points as well as calculating definite integrals. It's also very useful for statistics when finding cumulative probabilities etc. Like cheaper versions it has a simultaneous equations solver and can find the roots of polynomials. I'm not sure how useful it will be on the new specification and most of the time I just use a regular five pound casio calculator but you might want to consider it.

    the fx-991 EX Classwiz is a popular choice. It's around £25. Btw you do not need a graphical calculator for A-level (further) maths, this calculator satisfies all the requirements given by the exam board.
