What's the closest to the deadline you've ever left an essay?

Thought this would be a fun one xD

And HOPEFULLY it might make me feel better about leaving a 3,500 word essay worth 12.5% of my final grade till about a week before it's due in.

I only get six day deadlines for mine, and I think the latest I've started it was on the 4th day.

At university, I've always been very organised; doing essays as soon as I'm given them.

However, my GCSE business studies coursework was handed in over a year late...oops. :s-smilie:

It also only took me one night, but that's besides the point...

Haha, a 60 page stats coursework until the day before. I didn't sleep that night but still got 36/40.

6 mins exactly to the deadline i handed it in by 1 min cos it took ne five mins to find my art history teacher

this year is a 3000 word and next year disatation which is like 12000 word

Usually if its due in by Friday 5pm..I give it in the following Monday before 9am..only lose 5% and finally get the fear and do it. Although this term I've just not done several pieces of coursework because they are only worth 5% of one module out of 12 and I have no motivation :frown:

yet to think of my 3000 word one due sometime in jan... maybe i should look when its due :s-smilie:

but normally start like 2 days before then finish it the night before, cant find motivation to do it weeks in advance.. really should though

Lots of insignificant German essays - 30 mins before, hell yeah

As you may guess, I'm a lazy little plumbum! But my teachers always loved me at school and knew it'd be worth waiting for haha :biggrin:

In sixth form I did a couple of essays in registration (the morning I was meant to hand them in) in front of the teacher I was doing them for. I worked better under pressure though. :p:
