I'm doing my IB exams this November, so uni offers for me won't come out until January next year when they have access to my final results. I don't think any unis give out unconditional offers for IB students, so what's the point of getting a conditional offer using my predicted grades??

You won't have to worry about sorting your application after exams and you ll do the exams potentially with offers to work towards

So, it basically just gives you a visualisation of a goal to work towards?

I thought they were all conditional? We were told that we had to wait untill our final grades were out to be sure about anything...

Oh lol maybe it's just really uncommon then. I guess it might also depend on the university and if you're predicted well above the course entry requirements.

Depends on a lot, but if you're a N17 IB'er you ( probably ) can apply after results day, as the UCAS deadline's January 15- I think IB results day is Jan 6th ( have no clue, I'm a M18 IB'er) and then you can probably just get Unconditionals then.
