Just been assigned a task to create a magazine based on a subject in biochemistry, can be anything related.

Any inspirational ideas that people could suggest? Struggling to decide a topic that's broad to allow me to write plenty about it, while also being an interesting topic at the same time.

    Cheers

    What's the audience?
Audience is to everyone, so information included in the magazine cannot be too technical as well as still being professionally good.

No that's not what somebody means when they ask for the audience. Who is your target audience as in who is going to be reading the audience. In order to suggest a topic I need to know the target audience. I could easily suggest something way beyond the comprehension of your readers or suggest something that is far too basic for them.

Again, target audience is anyone and everyone..

There isn't a specific target audience, the topic can be literally anything.

Every publication has a target audience. From The Telegraph to The Sun, do you think they aim their content for the same people? Just because anyone can pick up your publication doesn't mean your target audience.

I'm afraid I can't help, as a professional my range of knowledge is too wide to know where to start, whether to aim it at PhD level or at laymen.
