I want to become an English singer/songwriter(acoustic) will I have time while studying in university after my A levels, I mean can I perform gigs at nights and evenings, network and create a little fan base and grow by releasing little albums while studying at university?

I can’t see why you wouldn’t have time 😊 there will also be lots of oppertunties at university to do something like that, there will be open mic nights, uni events, there should even be some societies that would be awesome for you 😊

And if it is a hobby and something you enjoy then it won’t be a stressful experience, by that I mean, having work on top of uni can be a lot, but just doing something you enjoy should actually help you to relieve any uni stress. At uni you don’t spend all day and everyday in lectures, you do have a lot of free time. It is just important that you manage that time effectively 😊

Building a small fan base shouldn’t be too hard, get some social media pages going, post updates on there, attend any event that you can and make sure you link people back to any pages you do have so that you can build up that audience 😊
