# C3 integration help!! watch

1. Please could someone tell me whether this is a integration by parts or just by substitution question?

Integral of : 2x(2x-3)^0.5

I cannot do it!!!
I have reached du= (2x-3)^0.5 dx
and do not know what to do now?
Btw I haven’t learnt integration by parts yet.

No IBP required.

What did you set u =?
3. Hey

Put t = 2x - 3
dt = 2 dx

So, our equation becomes
Integral 2x (2x - 3)^1/2 dx
= Integral (2x) t^1/2 (2 dt)
= Integral 2 (t + 3) t^1/2 dt
= Integral t (t^1/2) dt + 3 (t^1/2) dt

Now, can you solve it?
