I took the LNAT on the 20th as I am applying to Oxford.
I wanted to know whether the practice tests were an indication of the REAL scores in some way because Mark Shepherd's book is not a cakewalk (atleast not for me :P)

I took 7 practice tests in all. My scores read
    22, 21, 21, 28, 30, 28, 18

Average of about 23. The 18 on the last test really demoralized me because I took it a day before the test. How much did the average Oxford-accepted person score on the practice tests? In the 30 range?

I believe the average was around 27 and the minimum interviews was around 23.

I am also applying to Oxford, good luck

I dont find the tests in that book easy either! Somepeople say that they aren't similar towards the real tests but others say they are.
Would you say the practice tests 1 and 2 were similar to the real one?

To be honest, I found the real one a lot easier than Mark Shepherd's book or maybe even the online practice tests. But yes, they were more or less similar in terms of what they were testing.
Which colleges are you applying to?

Ok, thanks! What did you get in practice test 2?
UCL and Kings are the LNAT uni's I'm applying to.

I got a 21 on practice test too but in hindsight that wasn't a very difficult test. How much are you getting?

I got 24 in that one. When I was going through it I could't understand why some of the answers were the answers.
My test is in a couple of days! What did you do on the last few days as preparation?

I found the book to be harder than my actual exam. I got worse- even a 12/42 on one! But I found that the real one came out fine and I honestly think it went well. Don't take your scores to be a real indication, but if you are scoring low marks, just read over where you went wrong.
