Hi guys, I am a Political Science master's final year student at University of Delhi. My carrier goal is to have a PhD in philosophy from any of the top varsities in the UK esp Oxbridge and UCL/KCL. Having said that, which course should I take: one year master's in philosophy or two year Mphil Stud? Or to be precise - would the above mentioned universities give me admission to their PhD programmes if I have just one year MA philosophy from a UK university?

Also, already having a master's would help or not since it included a good part of political philosophy also.

    Thanks.
