    Hi guys,

I have a moot, and I am senior counsel for the appellant. I am trying to argue that the payment of a lesser sum together with some additional goods (a bottle of wine) is sufficient consideration for a creditor's promise to forego the balance.

Is anyone able to offer some advice on this?

    Thanks in advance
