    Hello I’m in year 11 and I want to know if specimen papers are relevant to the real exam papers I’m going to be sitting this year. Do they have questions which would be relevant to the exam or do they have another purpose

    Specimen papers are produced to help teachers and students, who are the first year to sit a new exam course, to judge roughly the style, content and marking style of exam questions. They are the closest thing schools have to past papers, so you will probably have a specimen paper as your mock exam this year (I did for my English exams) but there are a limited number available, so try to save questions for nearer the exam season.
