    Hi there,
I know this is a typical TSR post and I don't think rankings are vitally important, but I think they're fairly important for your first job (If you get good honours). I know it depends on the subject, but would these rankings for reputation be generally correct? I'm wondering this as I like all my uni choices quite equally so reputation is one of the deciding factors. If not, how would you rank them?

    1. Oxbridge
    2. LSE, Imperial
    3. Durham, UCL, St Andrews
    4. Warwick, Kings, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh
    5. Basically the rest of the Russell Group + Bath, Surrey, Lancaster, Loughborough

Btw no idea which forum to put this in.

Would probably bump Warwick up to tier 3 and UCL to tier 2. EDIT: when it comes to financial services recruiting, UCL and Warwick are both tier 2.

Agree with what you say about Warwick but UCL isn't on an equal level to LSE and Imperial though + Bath should be in tier 4 and Manchester tier 5

I may have to decide between LSE and UCL hmmmm, would you say there's only a minor difference?

I would pretty much agree but caveat that any such rankings will be heavily subject-sensitive (but in terms of overall prestige/reputation I agree).

The different isn't large, but I would say that LSE is more prestigious than UCL.

Warwick is probably tier 3 alongside kings

But it all depends on what subject/career you want to go into. Finance and banking for example has an ever so slightly different ranking
