I'm currently studying an animation degree, and we've been asked to fill 10 pages of a sketchbook each week. I have a hard time on deciding what to draw because I'm super weird about it, but I've been wondering whether it's better to pick something I can see and draw it or try and draw from my imagination? Obviously a bit of both is important, and I'm taking life drawing classes as well, but I really want to improve on my drawing skills so is there perhaps a way that will help me develop a bit more?

I don't know which is better but drawing something you can see is much easier. That's why I think you should try that.
