I want to apply for Southampton's accounting and finance course which requires AAB. I achieved ABD at AS, but convinced my teachers to predict me AAB, which I'm putting my everything into achieving. If I have a pretty strong personal statement, might they let them grades slip? I'm not really sure how competetive this course is there.
But because of my AS, will I be at a disadvantage?

My AS grades were AABC for a course that wanted A*AA at A2 and I still got an offer, depends on the university but most will weigh up a bit of everything including personal statement etc. and not just grades 😊

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
