    Hi guys,

I have a deferred place at Leeds Beckett starting in September 2018, as I am on a gap year, but I want to cancel this place and reapply to Oxford Brookes (still for Sep 2018), does anyone know how to do this? Do I need to create a whole new UCAS account? Many thanks!

Also, I'm thinking of applying to a few different courses at Brookes as they offer a few different variations of a business and marketing course. If i was to apply to say 3 or 4 courses in the same sort of department, would this hinder my chances of receiving an offer?

    Thanks!!

Sometimes it’s just a case of calling them up to see, start with Leeds Beckett and then call UCAS themselves who might be able to switch it around for you. If it’s all variations of the same course I don’t see why they would question your commitment to the subject so I’d go ahead! 😊

You need to contact Oxford Brookes and tell them that you don't want your place. They will then contact UCAS. You can only send your new UCAS application once this has been done.

No, don't apply for 3 or courses at the same uni. Some applicants will pick 2 courses, and there are reasons why that isn't a good idea. But picking 4 would be pointless, and would show you have no idea what you want to study.
