Is it weird to not do anything for your 18th?

It's my 18th birthday on Saturday and I'm not planning to do anything special on it. I'll probably just stay in with my family and binge eat junk food and watch films :tongue: However, when I told one of my friends that I'm not doing anything they looked at me like I was mental and started insisting that I have to do something as it's something I'll look back on for the rest of my life and I'll regret it if I don't. The thing is I just really can't be bothered doing something ''big''.

What did you guys do for your 18ths? Do you think I'll regret it if I don't celebrate it in a ''proper'' way? :s-smilie:
No, spending the day with your family relaxing is fine, if you don't want to do anything special then don't.
Next week is my birthday, but I will work. If you don't really care or give importance to it, is not weird. I know a lot of people that in stead of having a party, just work.
