Alton and Farnborough 6th are pretty close to me, and their both meant to be decent, but Peter symonds is more well know for academics. Peter symonds also has a good track record with getting into Oxford, but it costs quite a lot to get there on the train.

Does anyone have any advice, or experience from one of the colleges?

Make sure you have had a good look round all the colleges you think of attending and pick the one where you feel you will thrive the most . The one with the best environment for you . Also make sure it offers the best departments for your courses .

I'm also in the same situation, if that helps. No one replied to my thread though so I'll watch this one for responses aha. I feel like your personal opinion is what matters most, rather than the statistics that the principal throws at you. If you walk on campus and feel good, it's probably a good option. If the opposite happens, even if their results are great, steer clear. Good results does not necessarily mean happy students, but in the case of PSC, I've heard their pastoral care is amazing.
