New specification - old spec past papers still helpful? watch

    • Thread Starter

I have begun studying a level Economics, Psychology and sociology as a private candidate. I failed my a levels the first time and are redoing them a few years later as I wish to go to university.

I have noticed at least with sociology and psychology which I did years ago (economics is new to me) , that a lot of the content is similar.

My question is, would I be able to use questions from past papers on the same topics e.g. Aggression in psychology as practice? Or has the spec changed so drastically? I can't imagine economics would have changed too much. My only issue is getting papers marked but any and all practice is useful.

I would be looking to use practice papers across all three topics. I find the lack of past papers with the spec frustrating but am relieved that everyone starts off in the same boat.

    Thanks in advance.
