Do the guys out there like high cheekbones in a lady?

Basically this is quite a pointless thread, but something I've wondered for a while is, as a rule, do gentlemen love, loathe or not care whether or not a woman has high cheekbones?

Mostly I wonder because I have very high cheekbones, and personally I quite like them as they give my face definition, but upon nosying around sites like this it appears that men seem to prefer 'cute' features on girls? Replies would satisfy my curiosity, and may influence whether I continue to make-up to highlight, or start to try hide, my cheekbones!

Of course guys (and girls, let's not be discriminatory now  ) like high cheekbones!

What exactly are you after, information about how to enhance them? I usually suggest a bit of bronzer underneath them, and a light pink on top. Depends what event you're going to tho, if it's just for work then the lightest blush is fine (with a bit of sparkle if you *do* want to add some fashion to it), otherwise heavier going out.

I like cheekbones :coma:

no seriously, I don't think people have anything against them, but obviously people will have their preferences :p:
As a guy, it's not something I notice in itself. Of course, high cheekbones can make for a more beautiful face overall and that's something I'd notice. But I've never seen a girl and thought - "Wowww, check out the cheekbones on her! "

If you want to know whether you're hot or not then send me a photo or post it here. DB has posted the odd pic and she's fairly pretty (bit much makeup though! :p: )

Yup, I like cheekbones of a higher variety. They tend to make a lady more striking?
I like cheekbones and collarbones and wrists and ankles. Delicate and fragile
I doubt many men would notice whether or not you had high cheekbones.

But what got me thinking, and perhaps, worrying slightly, is why on earth anyone would change their opinions/attitudes about their own physical features, because of what does or doesn't appeal to a couple of strangers on the internet.

High cheekbones (good bone structures) are admired and desirable by most. It's a fact of life. Whether or not you choose to embrace your natural beauty is up to you; more fool you if you choose to waste it, is what I say.
The %%%%%%%% is a cheekbone?!

I'll be honest: I have only ever once even noticed that someone had cheekbones, and her's were high, and she was beautiful.

I had no intention of changing my opinion on them, just wondered what the general opinion was! I said I *may* change whether or not I used make-up to enhance them or not, but tbh I probably wouldn't anyway. I was just curious! :|

Huzzah for high cheekbonees!
Although if your skin is quite pale and you have eyes on the lighter side of the scale it can make you look a tad too statuesque.

indeed - i know many people in the construction industry who are not averse to shouting out 'look at the cheekbones on that!'

(dammit just properly read the thread and i've been beaten)
Although high cheekbones are nice, there was once a news reporter who had really high cheekbones, and she had a really defined chin as well, so she look a bit, well, squarefaced. It was unnerving.

I think high cheekbones are great to have, I always try bring mine out with bronzer/highlighter. Most guys wont notice them, but theyll probably notice you look better overall when theyre made to stand out than when theyre not.

I've never had any complaints. What an odd thread. I honestly do notice the bone structure of people, though. And I love really defined, strong faces on both men & women.
I've started to notice people's bone structure too, mostly because i seem to have no damn cheekbones whatsoever! ok not none, just very.. nothing there and i really wish i did. I just have an annoyingly "cute" face i've been told and i do believe those with high cheekbones look more striking. Good thing some guys dont really notice it as much.

Hmm (trying not to hijack the thread here but...) as i have quite a small round face, i never wear blusher as i just dont know where to apply it, and dont have defined cheekbones at all, does anyone know where i could apply it ?
I love high (or just pronounced) cheekbones, though I don't know many other males that have a thing to say about it. In fact, I think I'd be regarded as a freak among my peers if I let people know how much I like high cheekbones :p:.

Cheekbones are one of those subtle things that people don't tend to notice, though I'm sure it has quite a big subconscious effect.

The girl in your avatar is an alright example. You probably have a preference for it and don't realise.
