hi, my practical driving test is in 3 weeks and 3 days and my place of birth on my provisional license is wrong so I emailed them to see if I could get it changed and the DVLA replied saying it could take up to 3 weeks to receive a new one so is it worth it to send mine off and will it be likely to come back in time?

It definitely is worth sending it off. But why have you only realised this now?

    Hi there! :wavey:

This thread should be in the Cars and motoring forum. I'll just tag AngryJellyfish to get this moved over there

If it's up to 3 weeks, then theoretically it should come in time. No guarantee though. I'd ask the DVLA perhaps :yep:

I wouldn't risk it. When you say it's wrong, how wrong is it?

You should probably pass your test, and then keep your licence and pass test certificate, so you can send your licence and certificate back along with a D1 form to update the error.
