    Is there only 3 exams that have to be taken to get the full A Level qualification in both subjects? The exam boards would be Edexcel and AQA.

    Yeah 3 exams for each although 6 hours in total for each and all if not at least 1 of the papers will be synoptic ie the whole syllabus is examined over all the exams.

    yeah, almost all Alevels are 3 exams. There are exceptions for things like ICT and Business Studies though

    Philosophy and computer science have 2 exams for AS and A2. (AQA)
