As mentioned in the title, I'm due to submit my application for university later this week and although I passed all of my A-level exams (ICT, Computer Science and Psychology) , many courses require mathematics as an A-level subject. What I want to do is show that I am above average and have a genuine interest in coding in hopes that it will allow the better universities to potentially accept my application...
So, is the person that reads personal statements familiar with the course and would likely know what GitHub is? And would it look unprofessional / out of place to have a link on my personal profile

    Thanks

Firstly if you don't have the required subjects, you won't be getting offers. Secondly, you're probably wasting character space to mention it.
