Tomorrow I'm getting a train departing from Huddersfield to Nottingham
This requires getting a connecting train from Wakefield
When I buy the tickets from the train station will
I get two tickets that say Huddersfield to Wakefield
    Then Wakefield to Nottingham?
I'm scared can someone give me some advice on this and how quickly it is to find a platform

Yes, you should get two separate tickets - I got one from London to Leeds to Huddersfield.

Platforms are fine, if in doubt ask staff on platforms. In the main area of the stations it'll tell you the departing train times and platform numbers
