I am a grade 3 specifically in English Language when i took my early entry exams in year 10.
Fortunetly, i get to retake them this year. However, there's more to revise.
I was in that exam hall last year. Feeling like i was acing all the questions. I watched mr Bruff. You name it. I went to results day in August and i failed. I wish I knew where i went wrong but I literally don't know.
Any advice for a higher grade before 2018 GCSE exams in may ?

A lot of it is just practice. If you do more practice questions, then I'm sure you'll improve.
Mr Bruff is great, and his videos are really useful. However, just watching them isn't enough. When you've watched them, go and do some practicing to consolidate your knowledge. You don't always have to write out your answer in full. Planning answers is a good revision method, as well as annotating extracts.

Try and learn some sophisticated vocabulary as well, to help in the writing questions. Reading a lot will also help
