    statistically it's unlikely, but there's no issue with aiming high. Make sure you're familiar with the content and the exam technique. Practice and thorough understanding will be key particularly for the sciences and maths.

    I have set myself a personal target of 9 or A* in all subjects barring English Language and Literature (where I would like an 8); It is more than achievable, if you understand the topics well, and refine skills.

    Its better to aim for the stars because atleast you will reach the moon.

    Aim for 9's , the stretch will get you better grade than aiming for a lower one

    although don't beat yourself up if you don't get what you expected
