    Hey guys...

I was hoping to get some feedback from you.
I am hoping to apply for MPHARM...I am predicted AAC. I have done a lot of research and I can see myself in this profession as a pharmacist.
I’ve shortlisted the unis that match my entry requirements and looks good but can’t narrow it down to 5 so I would be so grateful for your suggestions...

Listed in no particular order btw
    Aston
    Reading
    Bath
    De Montfort
    Kingston
    Bradford
    Portsmouth
    Hertfordshire
    Liverpool John Moore’s
    Brighton
    Wolverhampton

Those are some decent unis. But be careful to limit yourself completely to unis that only offer your predicted grades - it's well worth applying to one or two that slightly exceed your expectations, such as AAB, because you may well achieve that with more work etc, and a lot of the time universities will make quite flexible offers. By that I mean that they might give a certain offer, e.g. AAA, but in reality would still accept you with a grade below, like if you got AAB in this case.

Just from a quick google, Bristol to a pharmacology degree that has AAB requirements, and has a contextual offer that's lower, which may or may not apply to you depending on where your school is. Worth having a look!

    Hi there,

It's great to see that Hertfordshire has made your list of potential unis!

Have you been to many open days? They can be great to help narrow down your choices as you get a feel for life on campus and meet your future lecturers and current students. It would also be worth, if you haven't already, comparing the modules offered at each uni to find the ones you like the best.

We've got amazing facilities for our Pharmacy students to use. You can take a wander round our new £50M science building here.

There's lots of info about our MPharm course here including where our graduates have gone on to work, but if you've got any other questions just let us know.

Our next open day is on the 18 November if you want to come along

    Thanks,
    Heather

Perhaps see if you can attend some open days at the universities to see how you like the environment? There is more to university than entry criteria

Brighton is a great city - not sure about the university for your course though.

Bath for sure. Someone mentioned Bristol too.

    So, Brighton, Bath and Bristol.

    Hello DoctorAngel :ciao:

Have you managed to visit our campus on an Open Day yet? We have Open events on the 4th and 22nd of November so you can come and meet current students and lecturers, as well as see the facilities for yourself to see if we are the perfect fit for you.

We offer a 4 year or unique 5 year option which means you can complete your pre-registration training as part of the programme. But don't just take it from me...

    Hope to see you soon!
