As someone who aims to self study Maths and Physics, what books should I get hold? I am confused due to the new reforms and I want to make sure I study the right topics in the right amount of depth.

Look at the spec, if you want to buy textbooks for it, go to "published resources".
I chose Edexcel because they have solution banks (worked solutions for every Q), that come with the textbook.
