You may want to look into apprenticeships that might be related to your area of interest near you - companies will, not infrequently, hire their former apprentices after the completion of the apprenticeship if they continue to require their new skills. This gives you some medium term possibilities and doesn't necessarily mean you'll have to immediately look for a new position after the apprenticeship, and you'll of course be earning a wage while also working towards some form of qualification. Alternately you may be able to parlay such an apprenticeship into a higher level one (including up to a degree level apprenticeship), either at your company or elsewhere, or pursue a formal degree programme somewhere.
