    Hi,

I really have an interest in studying Midwifery, I have since I was young however I was unsure when I was applying to university's, so instead I applied for Psychology, I ended up doing 2 years Psychology, failed my second year due to personal circumstances - then changed to Law (my head was all over the place at this stage, big mistake)
I left uni cos i realised the course I was doing wasn't for me, So i basically have no years of funding left.
I thought why not apply for Midwifery - but i just learnt about the change in tuition fee's for Midwifery, Nursing etc.. but I have read anyone who has studied previously but wishes to complete a Midwifery/Nursing course is eligible for further funding for these courses, is this true? or is it only available to students who completed the course and not for anyone that has failed?

    Thanks!

I'm a bit confused about funding for a second degree also - just noticed theres a student finance employee page where you can ask questions so perhaps ask there as well as get advice for on here! I do wish they'd make these things clearer!

Yes, for nursing & midwifery courses you are able to get another student loan.
