I've just started at Durham doing History and Politics. I had an idea that I wanted to change to single-honours Politics before I arrived and the first couple of weeks have confirmed that. I've asked about a transfer but they've said the core module I'd have to change on to is full and not being able to get onto this means I wouldn't be able to transfer at the start of second year either. I don't particularly want to drop out - I'm sure I can pass the History modules I just wouldn't be completely happy on them. I've not said to them that I'd drop out if I couldn't change but would that make them reconsider at all?? Any general advice??
What's the best type of cheese?
