Fed up with feeling alone at uni Watch

    So basically I'm living alone this year at uni because it's a repeat of my 3rd year due to mental health issues. I'm afraid I'm going to have a repeat of last year if I don't get rid of my loneliness and my depression has come back recently too

    I have some friends but they live pretty far off and aren't at the same Uni as me, albeit in the same city. I only really see them on weekends

    First year I had a girlfriend and I literally spent all my time with her. Probably ruined a lot of potential relationships I could have made

    I've always been a fairly closed person; I rarely hung out with my housemates in 2nd year due to them being total *******s a lot of the time and my social life was literally meeting girls off dating apps

    Only society I'm currently a part of is debating , but I'd like to meet more people and join some others; I just want some people to text or hang out at uni. I've really ****ed up my time here and I just don't know how to make it better

    Any advice would be great, thanks. I'm just getting stuck into a rut again and my depression is really stopping me from wanting to study

    pick up a sport/go to the gym if u don't already-really improves your mental health aswell as physical from my experience.
    u can meet more people joining a sport, going to the gym is more of a lone wolf sort of thing
