You’d defo be okay then! That’s a really good structure to follow. It’s just like PEEL (Point Evidence Explain Link) but more so definitely!

Mr Bruff is really helpful for this. I was struggling with English and wasn't expected to get my target grade of a 7. Watched a few of his videos and he basically tells you how to answer the question, I followed his advice and ended up getting a 9! The way you answer the question is slightly different for each question but his videos explain it all and are easy to understand. What I would suggest is just learn what you're meant to do for each question (which I managed to do the night before my exam) and then do it in the actual exam.

I agree with Mr Bruff I went up a grade after watching his videos and reading the downloadable book.

I would also suggest you include to infer, this is the under story, not actually written but suggested by the words used. This is where the mega points are.

If you imagine those who mark the papers have to read hundreds, you need to really do something different then the others to get the high marks which inference will do.

Use the acronym but include more if you can. Make your goal to get a 9, even if you don't think you'll get it (only 2,000 out of 60,000 did this year).
