Does the written work sent in affect whether or not you get an offer? If I send in some essays and the admissions tutors don't like them, could that negatively affect my application?
They wouldn't ask for something if they didn't include it in the overall assessment of an application...
But one "weak" element is unlikely to adversely affect an otherwise strong application.
