    The workload should be the same - you study half and half not an entire extra degree.

    The problems are usually with organisation and support. Timetabling/coursework deadline clashes, issues over sorting out dissertations etc.

    Your best bet is to ask directly the universities you're interested in whether they can put you in touch with someone studying the combination of courses you're interested in.
