so i'm from new zealand, I finished school last year and took a gap year this year as I wasn't motivated to start uni. I got a job, saved up and went and worked at a summer camp in america where I had the best experience of my life, made so many good friends and great memories. I'm now back at home, feel like i'm ready to go to university yet at the same time not ready to not return to camp. I spend some days commited to university and some questioning my motivations towards uni and wanting to be at camp. the biggest problem is that if I were to go back to camp I would have to take another year off uni meaning I would start uni at 20 and camp is only 2 months long so I don't know how I could justify the rest of the year. any advice would help.

Just find other other things to fill in for ten months. If you arent ready for uni then you arent ready. Why not do a season in s ski chalet? Its very important when you go to uni that its the correct one and the right subject at the right time. Age isnt an issue here and no one will notice. having savings will make it much more enjoyable as well.
