Can I have an exact definition for the two things please?

I know that hydrolysis uses water to split a molecule into two and condensation bonds two molecules together, usually eliminating water but I'm not sure of if that's the best way to put it!

    Thanks for any responses!

When you guys say that I'm fine do you mean that I'm correct?

IF you were asked for a definition (which I doubt) then your response is fine.

Much more likely, you will be given an equation and asked to name the type of reaction that is occurring.
