    Hi,

I moved in to UK for almost a year ago. Back then i coudn't get into school/college(whatever you wannna call it) because of slots. But now i want to apply for a-levels but i don't have GCSEs, I only have the american grades which is numerical in my case. I'm not sure if my grades would be of any use to applying in year 12. I am well-educated on English, Science, Filipino, Music, Arts, PE, Health, History, Morals and virtues, ICT, agriculture. Before I came to UK, I was a grade 10 student but sadly i didnt finish it i only made it to early 2nd quarter of the school year. I wasted a year now. The school im in now put me in an ESOL program, which insulted me. So can i use my grades to take maybe 3 a-levels? My grades since elementary are quite high, I never got below 82 on core subjects and 80 on other subjects. I'm really scared on what my future would like now that all my plans in my country will not be applied here and i'm about to waste my second year here.

You could always self teach and then pay for exams at an exam centre.

Maybe call up some colleges/Sixth Forms near you and ask?
