Can anyone help me? I've only done makeup as a hobby. I really want to study it, I'm really interested in everything about it getting a degree out of it. I have NO clue what to put in my personal statement and NO clue what to do for a portfolio. Any help is much appreciated; thanks so much

Hey, last year I applied for the prosthetics for performance one and got on it but withdrew as I only wanted to got for the Makeup for Fashion course, so I'm applying for 2018/19. I was asked for a portfolio for this course but because I'd got onto the other one I didn't see the point.
In my personal statement I just emphasised the importance of makeup today and why I thought it was necessary to do this course for me and any experience I had with makeup. they tend to ask why you want to be in london so try to fit that into it too.

For your portfolio, the asked to only see fashion makeup, no halloween stuff, they want to see what you can with trendy, catwalk style looks.
    Hope that helps
