My Teacher said the reason why I always get 23/24 out of 30 is because I don't explain my context further enough. I put context in all my paragraphs and make sure that it has a link to the quote that I'm analysing as well as compare what the reader. Is that not what I am supposed to do?

Why don't you ask your teacher? Get them to give you an example of what a higher level essay looks like.

Without reading your essays or being examiners, we don't know. However, you do need to take a moment to look at *overall* context of the novel. Historical, social and political context.
