If I got a result of 70 in second year, 40% of overall degree...how much do I need (minimum) to get a first overall, if my final year counts for 60% of my overall grade?

Not a maths student lol can't work it out.

70, if there are no special rules (e.g. At my uni if you average 68 overall and average 70+ in 5 units in final year then you get a first, any such rules should be found online or in your 'handbook'.

    Calculation:

    70*0.4 + 70*0.6 = overall result = 70.
