I’m hoping to study social work at university, with the goal of doing mental health related social work as a career. But there’s so many universities out there, has anyone got any suggestions for which are the best?? I don’t have any preference for which area of England it’s in really, but also which universities are best for the cost of accommodation? Thank you 😊

I'm not entirely sure on the best, but looking at the league tables would help for the subject😋 If you just google it, it should come up! I'm not as clued up on accommodation but if you look on providers website or "whichuni", it should help. I'm applying for undergrad social work for 2018 and am so happy now my application has been sent off. I hope you find the uni for you!

I wouldn't worry too much about which university is the best, league tables are subjective. You could get into and attend the number 1 rated university for Social Work (which is Nottingham by the way) and hate it and you could go to one that is not so highly ranked and love it. Look at the course content and the visit the city where you'll be spending three years of your life and then make a decision from there. When you look around the universities they will have accommodation tours. If for whatever reason you cannot attend there should be a page on the website where you can view accommodation.
